France 24 invited 12 influential bloggers (Andre Baron & Joanne Colan from RocketBoom (USA), Robert Basic (Germany), Luca Conti (Italy), Juan Varela (Spain), Gilles Klein (France), Jean-Michel Billaut, Roba Al-Assi (Jordan), Carl Jan Königel (Netherlands), Giuseppi Granieri (Italy), Luc Van Braekel (Belgium), Chukumeka Okafor (USA),...) from all over the world (with the help of our Buzzparadise platform) for an exclusive presentation of the TV Network. They were invited to shoot some videos directly from the official TV offices.

Open BC France : 3rd Birthday Party

The social network OpenBc, now rebranded as Xing (to be pronounced "cross-ing), was organizing a party last Saturday night in Paris at Le Cab to celebrate its 3rd birthday. Invited by Yann Mauchamp, OpenBc Country Manager for France, we had a jump with Greg and Swedish in Paris (if you are looking for someone smart speaking french, english and swedish,.. she is looking for a job...).

Among the nearly 500 people there, we came across Charles (exhausted by his new job in Fullsix), the Gaspanik Team (cool webtv, you should check it out), Richard (who espace from his work regarding the "Blog Emploi Challenge"), Peewee, Charles Nouyrit (now working for Group Reflect), Carlos Diaz, Laurent (ready to start a new business) Sophie, Julien, and Jeremy Dumont (crazy networker who organizes the Aperos Du Jeudi).

Netizen : blogs have their own magazine (France)

I was delighted to attempt the launch of the first French printed magazine dedicated to blogging few days ago. Netizen (site) has just been launched by Christophe Ginisty, already known in the french blogosphere for Pointblog.com.

The launch party has been a real success with the presence of numerous bloggers like Jacques, Rodrigo, Mry, Marie, Vinvin, Bettina, Rmen, Miss Blablabla, Scally, Ekzit, Christophe, Nawal, Charles, une blonde,  Fred de Mai from Potinblog, Fubiz, Nicolas. One part of our Culture-Buzz team was there off course with Very, Galienni and myself. There was nearly only few known members of the french blogosphere missing : Fanny, Folie, Anina (too busy swimming?), Gregory and Adrien (traveling in Brazil).

Fannys Party 15 / Feedback

Affluence le Mardi 25 octobre à la 15ème FannysParty. Il y avait tellement de monde que j’ai malheureusement raté un certain nombre de personne ! En tous cas un joli succès pour Fanny, notre geek girl. On notera une population de plus en plus diversifiée (des filles !!! mais aussi de plus en plus de bloggeurs et entrepreneurs), la présence récurrente des media (cette fois France 5). Dur dur de résumer mais dans le désordre : 

Yann Mauchamp s'éclate sur un simulateur Nintendo en relief, découverte d’un nouveau moteur de recherche sponsor de la soirée : Seekport, Xavier des Horts est venu une pleine malette de joujoux high tech Nokia dont le 6600 smartphone ou "smartfun" à la couleur noire.

   Sony était présent avec de nouveaux lecteurs MP3s : NW-A1000 et NW-a3000 dont je vous avais déjà parlé… De beaux challengers pour l’Ipod! En tous cas ils ont fait un tel carton, qu’il semble malheureusement qu’un est disparu lors de la soirée ! Une horde de de chiens électroniques Aibo étaient aussi présents…

J’ai eu le plaisir de croiser entre autre Mry et Eric de Pozz-Agency en coup de vent, Yann Mauchamp d’Open Bc avec un nouveau projet dans les cartons, Jacques Froissant, Gregory Pouy, Raphael, Nathan Guetta et Papy Boyington qui revenaient d'une soirée Flickr, Mister Pooxy... Nicolas, Very et Galienni de la Culture-Buzz Team était bien évidemment présents.

Au final, un dîner avec quelques rebelles gustatifs (Charles Liebert, Anne , Galienni, Alex de Carvalho, Romain de l’autre côté de la rue).

Sinon j’ai manqué Marie Hulin, Lucile Julia (thanks Charles) la journaliste de France 5 et son chien, Howard Rheingold (véritable guru US des "Foules Intelligentes" et autres flash mobs), Charles Nouÿrit et Bibear, Sophie, Roland Piquepaille, Nicolas...

Bref une soirée excellente ;-)
