Open BC France : 3rd Birthday Party

The social network OpenBc, now rebranded as Xing (to be pronounced "cross-ing), was organizing a party last Saturday night in Paris at Le Cab to celebrate its 3rd birthday. Invited by Yann Mauchamp, OpenBc Country Manager for France, we had a jump with Greg and Swedish in Paris (if you are looking for someone smart speaking french, english and swedish,.. she is looking for a job...).

Among the nearly 500 people there, we came across Charles (exhausted by his new job in Fullsix), the Gaspanik Team (cool webtv, you should check it out), Richard (who espace from his work regarding the "Blog Emploi Challenge"), Peewee, Charles Nouyrit (now working for Group Reflect), Carlos Diaz, Laurent (ready to start a new business) Sophie, Julien, and Jeremy Dumont (crazy networker who organizes the Aperos Du Jeudi).

BlogParty : Bloggers in Paris

The BlogParty, last friday night in Paris was a big success. Sponsored par Wat.tv, it was a nice occasion to meet more than 250 bloggers! To name a few : Vinvin, Folie Privée, Fred de Mai, Darkplanneur, Virginie Talavera, Kylia, Christophe Ginisty, Bagatelles, Greg, ParcequeMoiAussi, la Gazette du Buzz, Nawal, Emery, Galienni, Fanny, Miss Blablabla... Netizen : blogs have their own magazine (France)

I was delighted to attempt the launch of the first French printed magazine dedicated to blogging few days ago. Netizen (site) has just been launched by Christophe Ginisty, already known in the french blogosphere for Pointblog.com.

The launch party has been a real success with the presence of numerous bloggers like Jacques, Rodrigo, Mry, Marie, Vinvin, Bettina, Rmen, Miss Blablabla, Scally, Ekzit, Christophe, Nawal, Charles, une blonde,  Fred de Mai from Potinblog, Fubiz, Nicolas. One part of our Culture-Buzz team was there off course with Very, Galienni and myself. There was nearly only few known members of the french blogosphere missing : Fanny, Folie, Anina (too busy swimming?), Gregory and Adrien (traveling in Brazil).

Petite visite dans les locaux de Six Apart France (à quelques pas de la Tour Eiffel), vendredi. La version 3.2 de Movable Type arrive enfin et les innovations prévues dans les mois à venir par Six Apart sont vraiment nombreuses : mobilité, services, modules,... Nous avons pu faire un point sur le partenariat avec notre agence Culture-Buzz.  Nos équipes techniques travaillent en effet actuellement sur plusieurs projets de blogs/sites sous Typepad et MovableType, les 2 solutions de blogging de Six Apart...
