When Words Collide : DDB speach in Cannes Advertising Festival 2007

While surfing on http://video.stumbleupon.com, I just came accross this interesting video shot during Cannes Advertising Festival 2007.
Matt Dyke, Worldwide Planning Director and Jeroen Matser, Senior Planner, discussed the new landscape of digital innovations converging with the physical world : RFID, interactive shoPping window, geotagging, gps marketing live localization, objects talking to each other, augmented reality, mobile innovations, live interactive game offline in a movie theater.

Lots of interesting examples... The barriers between digital and real world seems to be collapsing more and more... And you what do you think?

A day at Cannes 60th Film Festival...

Welcome to Cannes 60th Film Festival (admire this year officiel poster!)...

where "festivaliers" are waiting, all equiped, for stars to come in front of the red carpet...

or in front of palaces and hotels such as the Martinez...

... when stars such as Diams are recording TV shows (here for Canal+).

Brands & studios are there too, heavily promoting their coming movies

on all the palaces front...

If tired, you can still chill on the privatized beaches (here is the myspace one)

and meet interesting people and bloggers (here, Gilles Bruno from l'Observatoire des media)..

or test new cocktails (on the Martini Terrasse with Fanny and Fabien)...

      

while listening to engaging music (actress and dj Julie Gayet)...

A night at Cannes Festival

I juste arrived around 10pm yesterday night to join Fanny at Cannes International Film Festival...

The Bouncer of the Martinez beach as Fanny for a photo since he is a big fan of the time she was animating a show on GameOne Cable Channel..

Few bloggers were invited to meet at Martinez beach. It was nice to meet Folie Privée and Eric for PRLand....

or Mahilde (ex BuzzLemon)... but it was the occasion to meet new bloggers such as Befaure who I only knew from BuzzParadise (he is one of our member) since he is based in the South of France...

End of the night at the Jimmy's, one of the highly selective spot of the Festival..

Enjoying some champagne....

with Fanny... before to look at the nearly empty Croisette at this time of the night from the Terrasse of the club...

Just a bit sad to only have a part of the team compared to the other years...  More to come in the coming hours and days...if I find time to blog ;) and more on Fanny & Fab blog.
